Berringer Martial Arts

         Berringer Martial Arts teaches a traditional Korean karate known as Tang Soo Do. Tang Soo Do can be traced back over 2000 years to Korea and has had many influences over the years from both Japanese and Chinese karate. Tang Soo Do practitioners strive to maintain traditional values of respect, discipline, self control and harmonious life, physically and mentally.

        Master Kerry Berringer, who is a 4th Degree Black Belt, is the Primary Instructor and has been training in the art since 1992. Master Kerry Berringer is also a black belt in Haidong Gumdo, which is a traditional Korean sword art and teaches this in specialized classes throughout each month. He has also had training in several other martial arts.

         Ms. LuAnna Berringer, Master Berringer's mother, is a 2nd degree black belt and is one of the other instructors. She has been training in Tang Soo Do since 2001.  She also trains in Haedong Gumdo and will soon be testing for her black belt.

         All students become members of the World Tang Soo Do Association, which is the largest organization for Tang Soo Do and stretches over the entire world. More information about the WTSDA can be found at www.wtsda.com.
